apexi turbo timer
apexi turbo timer
i just recieved my turbo kit and it came with the apexi turbo timer. it has instructions on how to install for pretty much every other mitsubishi except for the 02 oz rally lancer. if anyone has the wiring for this please let me know asap.
having the harness makes install so much easier, Connect it under the steering column then connect it to your relay. With the Apexi TT you will have 3 wires Black,White, and Grey. Black is for ground, White is for 02 sensor/AF, Grey is for the Ebrake (emergency shut down).
You already have the main power connected to your relay so now look for a ground. Connect the black wire to your ground point. If your **** about someone takeing off with your car then your going to have to splice the Grey wire into your e-brake wire. The white wire also needs to be spliced into the ecu wire that sends the 02/AF info to the ecu.
On my setup I just connected the black wire to a ground and dressed everything up. Didnt bother with the o2/af wire or the grey wire. I already have a gauge for AF and I cant even lock my car with the car running anyways so no need for the grey wire.
This is another reason you dont need turbo timers specially on an evo x. You can just sit in the car for 30sec or so then shut it off yourself.
