quick question, how much did the kit, labor, paint, etc... cost?

reason for asking: for the price of all that + the cost of the car couldn't you have bought a used 08 evo or at least a new 09 ralliart?

doubt it. i paid 2gs for my kit. got quoted about 1200 for install and paint. so total of 3200 for everything.

paid 17k for my gts car so a little at 20 would still be 7k less than the start of the RA.

if i dont sell the kit by summer im probably just going to keep it and install it. make it a show car or something.

14k??? +18k for the car that's a total investment of 32k why not get an evo? U did all this work to look like one but are still just a gts. Imitation is the best form of flattery but dam that's kinda a waste....don't get me wrong it looks cool and looks like the shop is doing good work but now all you're gonna get is "hey man nice evo".."its not an evo its a gts"......"oh, why did you make it look like an evo"....." cause evos are cool"......"then why didn't you just get one"....

You have all of the looks but no power, fwd, worse suspension, worse brakes, etc... but spent the same money.

Its cool, but I can't wrap my head around the point.
