4g64 swap questions.

I'm wanting to do this swap this summer but I'm confused on what I need. I have a 2003 lancer. A/t transmission. I had wanted to go forced induction.but after tearing into my engine the past couple of months with new timing belt and water pump and other maintenance I got the bug to do more the n/a route. I see the 4g64 as being promising. But I have read tons and I'm still confused. Hopefully people can chime in with guidance
I know I need the 4g64 but confused what vehicle I may get it from and what transmission I may use.
I am also confused on accessories for the new engine and if the 4g64 will connect correctly to the stock exhaust.
Also ecu? Does it have to be from the same vehicle I pull the engine out of? And does it plug and play like the stock lancer ecu?
And finally the custom mount? Is it the pass anger side? I've read three articles for the this swap but I Rember seeing somewhere that you needed 2 custom mounts.

I also own a automatic lancer , the 4g64 motor can be pulled from a 00-05 mitsu eclipse . I beleive you have to get the harness from the same car but I could be wrong . But having the wires from the original car cant hurt . Also I think you need an ecu aswell .

There are a few different cars you can get the motor out of. Mainly eclipse as stated above and also galants. And if im not mistaken monteros have them aswell. You will need to do a manual transmission swap i have not seen an auto swap done with that motor yet. I do not know about the exhaust tho. Harness will be from the car you pull it from. And ecu aswell. Should be a plug and play situation when you have the motor harness and ecu. And as for the motor mount you only need one the passenger side mount custom made. If you look under the forced induction section cfr has a build labeled "beastly 2.4 build" (something like that sorry im doing this on my phone so i cant go back and forth with links) but he has specs for the mount on there and all the info you need on this build in detail.

I kno that the 4g63 and 64 have the same mounting pattern for the transmission. So i dont see why you couldnt use a 63 block and a eclipse tranny. For automatic i guess you would need to actually try and see if it would work noone ive seen has done it. Everyone does it with manual trannys. Bt the principle is the same you just might need a custom mount on the driver side also. The biggest issue would be axles tho. Trying to find out if you could get the axles to work
