I am looking for the oil pressure switch on my 02 Lancer ES due to the oil light flickering and what not i am replacing it to see if this fixes the issue. I know its on the block near the oil filter, but not sure exactly. Anyway someone can post a pic or video showing where to find it? Much appreciated.

 

check your oil...the light comes on when the pressure is too low...like 4psi or something...if it's flickering it may be because you're low on oil or the pressure is insufficient....

 

I have replaced the oil and the oil pan. The pan was in really rough shape due to me taking the car out in the woods a few months ago. The light still flickers.

 

it's on the back of the oil filter housing just above the filter...(under the alternator)

 

It's some what far in the back, you'd need some wrench extensions to reach it
