Lancer oz, mirage engine 1.8 4g93

So. I have read a lot of threads out here that 4g93 head and manifold would work/fit on my lancer oz 03(4g94) I currently have automatic lancer 03 and in procress of selling it. And I found a lancer 03 5speed for cheap but it needs new engine. So my question is, should I buy another engine(4g94) and put head and manifold from 4g93? And what upgrades I need to have it a little bit better/faster? Or should I put the 4g93 engine into lancer(5speed) that im gonna buy and do some upgrades? Thank you. I just got into cars just recently. Im willing to learn to work on mitsubishi. Most of my friends are hondas so I want to be different. Thank you.

So far the only way to make real power is to put a turbo on the 4g94. The only problem is that the manifolds are really hard to find right now. The best bet is having a local shop weld you one up, which could get expensive.....

So turbo is the best so far? Well not really thinking to put turbo in it. So just after market parts and stuff head from 4g93

Well I think the 4g93 head might be about the same if not more? There's only been a handful of people that went with the mirage head but from what they say is that it wasn't worth it. I think the only company that has made a kit is LLT racing?

going with a turbo is really the only way to get any more power out of it.... unless all you do is a cold air intake, and exhaust and want to leave it at that
