Evo 9 steering wheel on a 2006 lancer
I have seen and read everything related to this but Mitsubishi decided to change the 2006 lancer steering wheel. Mine no longer have the Allen to loosen to get the wheel off, instead my 2006 is identical to my 2008 wherein there are screws on each side to get the middle airbag off and then loosen the middle nut to get the wheel off.

You need a steering column to match the wheel...

Was hoping I could just get a clock spring to match the wheel

You could try it, but I was under the impression you need the whole column, that's why I never did it.

Not really it's cold now so steering wheel is just sitting in the garage
