wow. super high mileage!

if that was closer and a little cheaper i'd consider buying it so i could give it to the WAPCE to learn to drive standard... without trashing my car!

lol i learned on a Budget 35ft box truck. I'm thinking of renting a U-Haul for the wife. I'll be damned if I let her learn on mine.

300k+ is damn impressive. Would make you think it's a diesel.

The G93 engine can last long as long as there is some sort of regular maintenance.

Damn thats crazy, wish the lancer would last that long, but the 4G94 isn't as strong as the 63, but it could be close.

If one of you wants it, you can buy it and I'll drive it to you free of charge lol. You pay for the gas too. I wonder how much longer it will last?

Who is talking about the 63? This Mirage had a 4g93. I think the 4g94 is just as capable an engine, as far as longevity goes. I've heard of guy with 100K plus going strong. The sky is the limit for those that do regular matainence and take care of their car. Drive it till the wheels fall off.

lol my bad I meant 93. That's what I was talking about. It is a clean car, both engine and body. I'm impressed. And yeah with regular maintenance most cars can go well over 100k, but some last longer than others.

Im willing to bet the engine has been replaced... But it could go that long, if you change the oil no less than every 4500 miles, T-Belts, replace leaky seals and gaskets and it will stay that clean and nice...

I work on an 04 ES with 138K on it... Changes the oil every 7500 miles like the manual says... Its dirty under the valve cover, the head looks like it was in a BBQ grill under that cover... maintenance is key... But most people don't take that good of care of econoboxes like ours...
