new subs and amp

i decided to get some subs, enven though i dont likee subs at all... well not reall "at all" but ya. i told myself i would never get them but i picked some up thismorning. the brand is MAGNUM. i never heard of it, mostly because im 100% sure that its a ****y noname brand. the reason i got it was because it was only 100 buck from circut city. thanksgiving morning sale. there 1000 wats. it came with 2 12" subs already with the enclosure. it also came with the amp. 100$, i just though i might give it a try. i havent got a chance to install it yet. i should be geting the cables fir it tomarrow. has anyone heard of this brand, have any experiences ect. with them?

Well, 2-12" subs, a box, and an amp all for $100 should pretty much give you the gist of the quality. On the other hand, no matter how good or bad it sounds, you only spent $100 on it.

Good luck with that! You'll prob have to use the speaker level inputs on your amp since you can't run RCA's to the new amp off the factory deck.

What he's saying is that you need to splice into the high-level outputs from your headunit, as in, the wires that go from the headunit to the speakers. Probably easiest to splice them back in the trunk near the rear speakers.

I ran a full infinity system not to long ago, and competed with it!!! 3 10" and I absolutely hated it, lol...I now run a single 1200wrms blaupunkt Velocity,, but back to topic, I have never heard of them!!! But it could be some rip off such as QUEST or DYNASTY...How do they sound? at least appealing?
