Exclamation Mount my PSP as an Ipod Unit?

... basically I want to use my PSP like you would use an IPOD in your car. I dont have an IPOD, but I have a 2gb PSP with lots of music on it. I wont to play them thru my speakers because lets face it, the radio and cds suck, haha. Can anybody help me go about this? I did a search and came up with nothing, thanks

Arith.

EDIT: Was doing some web browsing and came upon this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/PIONEER-AUXILIAR...QQcmdZViewItem

What about this?

Would that work?

the 2nd one looks like it may work.... the headphone jack on the PSP is just a normal headphone jack right? Sony wasn't mean enoough to make an adapter that only accepts sont ones I mean.... (Not too knowlegeable about PSP's here) The first one looks kinda messed up, but the 2nd looks like it would go from the headphones, right into the AUX RCA's, so they should work, as long as the headphone jack is normal

oh. welllll then.
only options i know of are the expensive adapter thingy that everyone keeps talking about, fm modulator, or fm transmitter. Promblem is, fm anything sucks for quality, and by the time youv spent money on that expensive one, you could have a new HU with aux input anyway...

They do! They can only sound as good as an FM signal, so no where near CD quality.

Why not just replace your deck with an MP3 one? It's prob less likely to be stolen than your PSP. You can get the JVC DVD MP3 deck that would give you 4GB of mp3's for $230.

+1. I got one of those for the psp. A plus side is that you can use an FM frequency to listen to your music, but at the same time, the sound quality is really bad- static bad.
if you can care less about that issue, it's a relatively inexpensive device.
