Just bought a 2006 Lancer Ralliart but the stereo head unit had been changed.

The previous owner gave me the orinal stereo but after plugging the harness and antenna in, the stereo does not turn on.

Is there something that I need to check first? Fuses on the main panel? Is there a fuse in the amp unit that need to be checked? Are there any circuit diagrams that I can download to verify if I'm missing any circuits that need to be connected.

yes, check the fuses. might be a fuse you wouldn't never think it is. Check both under the dash and under the hood. The cd player may need a code to turn it on. When you turn on your headlights, does the cd player light up?
