2004 RA double din

is tehre a kit? The orbital site is gone. I'm gonna go to futureshop on monday and i'd like to get a DD display but i might just go with a motorized pop out on a DIN cause it seems like less of a hassle. I'm sure FS could get the dash kit but I usually like to do stuff myself if i can to save money.

Your best bet would be to get the motorized pop out , other than that I've seen people make their own dd out of the oem faceplate since the orbital kits I've seen have be laughable in the price department.....

So i went to FS and they don't have a 2 din kit for our car. Ended up getting a Pioneer MVH-8200BT. Was looking at the motorized pop outs, but most expensive i was willing to go was 649 and an alpine and clarion model interfaces looked like computers from the 90's. the pioneer ran me 299...

link gives a 404 error

I feel ya on the double din bud. I was thinking about this for forever and a day.

IF you still wanna DDin, youre gonna have to do some fabrication. No way around it now if Orbital is gone, unless someone sells that on ebay now.

Ive got a post on here about using an iPad as a head unit. So if youre looking for a big ol screen for a little less than that clarion, might wanna keep an eye on that.
