Headunit Issue/No domelight or powerlocks

Okay so here's what happened. I have a 2006 Ralliart with the sun and sound package, and my friend and I were installing a new headunit the other day. We took the old one out and were wiring the new one in, I went to the trunk to grab something and then all of a sudden the dome light went out. My friend said he may have touched the power and ground wires together, but after that I tried the power locks and they wouldn't work either. The day after I went through and checked all the 7.5, 10, 15, 20 amp fuses that I could spot in the engine bay and on the inside fuse panel, they all seemed to be fine so I don't know what the problem is :S Did I fry some wiring or something? I feel like a huge noob, but I need help.

You could of fried some wiring. Remember... When you are doing anything with your car that has to do with wiring.. always disconnect the battery!

Did you check those two 10 amp fuses in that little yellow holder in the engine-bay fuse box? I had this same issue before when I was wiring my Kenwood headunit and both of those blew.

theres not enough juice in the stereo wires to fry wiring...the wort you can do is fry a fuse somewhere...
find a diagram and look to see what fuses it may be connected to...
