super glue tends to be brittle and can fly off, I suggest 3M foam tape, the trick is to cover the full length as best as possible to make it flush, if you use glue use 3M 5200 marine adhesive all weather is permenant and offers flex.

 

so that 3m marine glue would hold?? no falling off at highspeeds?

i've had mine on for nearly a year using the super thin 3M foam tape that is also marine. it rules. not a single little piece is lifting anywhere, and there's NO way that it's coming off if someone was trying to steal them. you'd have to be spending a long time on them to get them off in one piece, there's a few methods to get them off in one piece that work great.
