rub rub rub rub rub

Dropped the phantom on some progress springs. Riding on 16's with a 50 series tire due to tracks in town. Finding out now that the drop was too much for the 50 series. I have 5 17" Giovannas in my garage 3 are silver 2 are chrome. the 3 silver ones have 40 series tires on them the two chrome ones don't.

Now i need an opinion, should i get:

A) 4 new 40 series tires and keep my motegi mr7's

OR

B) Buy 1 17 Giovanna rim with tire.

Which would be cheapr and which would look better. I need to make Uturns! 3 pointing it makes me look rice.

Which ever way you decide to go, will you be selling the other rims?

which ones? the motegis i will keep if i get the tires. the giovanns will sit and rot if i do that. i guess i could seel them, you interested? i just need something to stop the rub. I would be willing to part with the motegis for a tire and 1 matching silver 6 spoke Giovanna.

i had 205/40/17's dropped on tein s.techs and i never rubbed. you shouldn't be rubbing with a 50 series tire on 16" wheels though.. i wonder why it does. you should be able to run with either a 45 or 50 series tire. what's your offset on the wheels btw?

i am going to do some research on the giovannas. i think with a 205/40/17 i will be better off. the motegis 205/50/16 have a few scratches but am willing to trade 4 rims with 4 3000 miles tires Kuhmo ecsta 50 seris z-rated, for one giovanna rim with a 40 series tire. no money between tuners, just a trade. Bartering works for the indians. the motegis are gunmetal. the giovannas are silver, will that take away from the look of the phantom if i switch to silver?

or vice versa of course, 4 new 40 series tires for 5 giovanna rims and 3 40 series ties. i think two of the tires are falken and the 3rd one is a bridgestone.
