I just wanted to write a quick review of the Catz bulbs I just put in tonight. In a word... Awesome. This is my fifth pair of bulbs (always have used the correct wattage, but one always burned out) so I have plenty to compare it to. The most recent set I had in that burned out was Sylvania Silverstar, which weren't that white to me. These bulbs are truly very white, and the closet to HID that I've seen (better than Eurolite Plasma, Euro Dezigns (eBay crap), and Farenheit Xenon). They have an awesome blue tint, and they look ultra-violet from the side, and even have a splash of gold in there. I'll take some pics tomorrow once I clean my ride. Best part was, 30 bucks shipped off eBay.

just a little FYI, Catz is produced by FET, the same company who makes (among other things) Kryptonite bicycle locks, Alpinestars apparel and Koni shocks.

so these give off the mulit-color light? one of my silverstars jsut burnt out thrusday and i already got pulled over. i really care more about the brightness, how do they compare to the silverstars in terms of brightness?

 

crap. i can't find my digital camera anywhere. i'm gonna keep looking though.

mike, you got pulled over with silverstars??? i'd say that these are maybe a bit brighter than silverstars, but they are truly whiter. and they don't really give off multicolor so much... its nice and white with a blue tint straight on, a little gold around the edge, and looking straight on from the side of your car, the headlights have a clean purple tint, just like HID. i really like these so much more than my silverstars (which also burned out).

i swear they make these bulbs so that they burn out after about 6 months.

i have to say that in real life, they aren't that purple. they actually look more blue to me. my camera pics up reds a little too much i think. they definitely aren't yellow at all though, like stock and cheap aftermarket bulbs.

 

they dont look half bad, but i need a single bulb fast so i just need to get a silverstar bulb and maybe i can see these on your car and see if i want them for my next set.

oh and i finally got my springs, wanted to install them and my sway bar soon, i knew you wanted o come when i did it.
