No rattlecan primer! For me it's paintgun or bust. If you REALLY have to use rattlecan primer on interior peices, make sure it says "plastic primer" on the front. That kind if primer will allow the paint to flex as the plastic does, so it wouldnt chip off from the flexing caused by the vibration of the car.

yup, agree 100% with kareem! If paint is the way u have to go, do plastic specific stuff ONLY. You may have to sacrifice on the color selection, but it will be worth the longevity and strength of it in the end.

BTW hows ur seats holding up??? any new pics on the paint on them???

That's my writeup, what you need is on the list in the thread. I follow this process for almost everything but with little variations (i.e. for interiors, for body kits, etc...)

Paintguns: 1.6mm for primer and 1.4mm for color and clear coat. That's what I use.

i don't really have a choice. i don't have a compressor, paint gun, or anything like that. if i did, or if i had the money to blow on it, trust me, i would. i was just wondering what people have used when using s good ole spray can.

unless you wanna paint my stuff with/for me kareem....you are after all the man!
