i think it looks good too, im still deciding my options for vents, i want to vent some of the heat, but dont want carbon fiber or soemthing really flashy

Celica's have a hood scoop that is fully functional, and they are NA....

And what about the new grand am's..... twin hood cowls that are functional in a NA car as well.

thanks for all the input on the hood guys. it is greatly appreciated. i think this hood will be going on my lancer when the time comes. i know its an evo hood, but im gonna mkae it work, dont get too crazy on me please. believe me i can make it work.

as for the plexi-hood idea, we cant make one of those for you as we have no tools to work with plexi, sorry man. im sure there is some one online that can help you out though.

the evo8 hoods should be the same as the 04 lancers with the only difference being the corners due to the different headlights.

yeah but i have an 03, there is a little more difference there, but im completely changing the grille and everything so its cool, i can figure it out.

Hoods pretty cool, I agree that it'd be nice if we had more of a selection on what kinda scoop or vent we wanted, so far its basically a vented evo hood a scoop from carbontrix. Might help those of us with a SRI to get some of the heat outta the engine bay.

We have the capabilities but that would be expensive to do. And im not sure those are legal.. purely for show I believe.

why not just get a vented evo hood and paint it the color of your car if you dont wanna be flashy!
