i was actually thinking about making it work. it bolts in the same on both cars, its jut that the evo doenst have the grille attached. but i am going through such extensive body modification anyway that the grille area is the least of my worries right now.

i guess if you want one we could make one for you, but not in cf. i could make one from a stock lancer hood and sell it to you for 450 plus shipping. it would be a one of a kind.

oh by the way we are back in business full swing if anyone is interested in doing a custom hood or anything like that we are working again.

i dont like it... the vents look weird.. u takin about for our car?.. i like the selection right now ....evo or oem.. i would like to see a scoop... like a small scoop, ie a celica style one, not a huge sti one... just somethin subtle... this hood looks better for a car like an IS or some i "have a cool car" CIVIC.

I agree, I love the evo hood ... I am working on finding a nice low profile hood scoop for my '02 OZ (soon to be turbo-Z ), it has been hard to find one that will match the body lines of the car and still flow into the hood good enough to mold it in with out a mountain of fiberglass. I am thinking of fabing one, but not so sure at the moment.

You think about making any clear hoods for the Lancer OZ or the EVO. I have an OZ with the Accolade Extreme VII kit on it, and I'm looking for someone that might be able to make a plexiglass or all glass clear hood for shows. So far, all local shops turned me down.

Search online, you should be able to find a shop that makes custom wind-screens (windshields) for hot rods and custom cars. They make most of them out of polycarbonate and can mold it in just about any curved shape. It will cost quite a bit between the material, labor, and a being custom mold. Good luck!

the only reason the minis and the scubbys have the scoop is for thier intercoolers. i think the scoop on a non FI car is kinda goofy.

i do like that hood though, I'd be interested in one for the 04 lancers if it's produced.
