Accolade has really turned a corner... The old accolade everyone knows is the overseas accolade that shipped kits straight to customers and arrives all beat up and cracked. The new accolade uses a new material for the kit which is more flexible (PFRP) and is shipped out from the warehouse in San Bernardino (so. cali). The kits are packed extremely well to withstand even the toughest handling. Accolade has been through 3 shipping companies till they arrived to the one that has the least amount of problems with shipping. I've been to the accolade warehouse and have seen their operations, I must say that Im impressed at the efficiency they operate with and the precautions they take to protect their customers kits.

Step 2: After the plastic wrap we apply a small bubble wrap film that covers the entire bumper this acts a buffer between the foam guard it insulates and protects against impact.

Step 3: After the bumper is fully covered in bubble wrap we apply 2 layers of foam ! this step ensures a high quality of protection that is very much superior to any packing in the industry.

Step 4: In additon to plastic wrap, small bubble wrap, and 2 layer foam we apply large 1/2 inch bubble wrap on key areas of the bumper Front and Sides. This step allows the bumper to float above the surface of the box.

Step 5: The bumper is now ready for boxing. Our current upgraded carton is 2 inches wider at the base with full flaps. We use one of the strongest designed boxes in the industry. While our competitors try to cut corners we spare no expense. Accolade only uses full overlap you may notice that the majority of kit boxes use partial overlaps although cheaper it is much weaker and can burst in transit.. Going full overlap not only doubles the bottom thickness it makes for a better box and a happy customer!

ACCOLADE is also proud to announce that beginning 9/20/04 the entire eastern board will benefit with a new shipper..
Our new freight provider do not break bulk in transit. What this means that from point A station to point B which is your closest terminal there are no midpoints or stop overs where cargo switches trailers. Less hands means low incidents for damage. And they're proud to announce the lowest damage claims in the industry.

And to add to that they are faster by 2 days... This shaves an already fast shipping of our previous 5-7 days. By Running direct routes with sleeper teams our standard delivery would go under expedited service~!

how much more expensive is it usually to customize a body kit? if any of you have seen the veilside evo VI dtm racing edition body kit, do you think its possible to modify that kit to fit an 02 lancer. its a wide body kit so i guess itd b even harder but is it possible at all to get that front bumper to fit or get something similar to it i really like it.

okay, to clear things up on my end. we are going through some interesting times here at sleek, but we are open for business again. we have not moved shops like was originally inteded but we have expanded out existing building to make more efficient work space. kulancer is right, i did trash the is300 conversion idea and most of the old ideas that we were working on as well. my car is going to be 100%custom with no "purchased" aftermarket body parts. when i say purchased i mean that they are not purchased as a bolt on peice. all parts for my car will be either hand made by us or made to fit by us.

now on to the real deal here. we can build pretty much anything you can dream up. in order for us to do that kit that you posted your car would have to be here in florida as it would have to made to fit and molded into your car at pretty much the same time. now if you only want that front bumper then we can do that without having your car here because we can use my lancer. you do have a 2003 model right??

also, in defense of accolade, i have seen some major changes in accolade since i first joined this community. i have never ordered parts from them, as i would just assume make them myself, but from what i have read in the past few months, as opposed to the year or so before that, they are doing pretty well with their packing and shipping, and the kits are fitting better as well. however, if you order a kit from accolade you are still ordering a kit that anyone else can get as well. if you want to be truly original and custom in this world of original and custom vehicles, you have to come up with your own ideas, and that is what we like to do, allow people to come up with there own ideas and execute them.

nope 02-03 were the first U.S. generation lancers. 04 is when they started making them look more like the evo 8.

Thats why you see a lot of 04 guys looking for parts for their cars...certain stuff wont carry over (like body kits) and needs to be redesigned.
