some of those pics are just photochops- like the 350z-burnt-orange-Evo, that was just some guy's idea.... and he not only shaved the handles, he welded the doors flush in the pic.... gotta get in and out Dukes of Hazzard style

with color change paints costing upwards of several hundreds of dollars a pint, yeah, I can see $5K if he got the labor for free

I got a price quote on how much it would cost to paint my whole car a diffrent color and it was about 5,000. if i had 5,000, i would pay off half my loan.
