Doesnt the MR have that new aluminum roof with the sharp grooves? (a bit different shape than the older evo or base lancer roofs)

those grooves flatten out before it gets to the VG.

if MJ says it fits, then it does. just really dont see the point on a fwd nonturbo nopower lancer.

you should read some of his pther posts...it contradicts his name a little...but i really like how the VG looks...and if i ever manage to save up for my turbo set up...i would add it just cause...lol

id rock it. even if it helps just a little bit... same thing with the wing or body kit. it doesnt really help. just looks sweet. the $300 is a bit pricey for it tho. maybe itll come down soon.

Mike,

It will have an effect, if used for it's purpose. At 100 mph, it keeps the rear of the car planted on the ground much better than without it.

Granted, he may never go 100 mph in his life. But if he does, he'd be safer with the vortex generator.

its gay... imho.. just voicing that.... its like putting an huge alluminum wing on a car that has less than 400 hp and is fwd... its usless and just plain *** ugly... i dont get y ud take something of a car like the mr and put it on an oz... specially if hes non rice... thats all just voicing an opinion dont wanna have his ride look like some **** faced civic...

Let me repeat myself.

Because it's not a dumb "trying to look like an MR Evo" thing, it's a matter of adding downforce. Some people do things because they make the car perform better. The VG will keep the *** of the car planted. If you've ever driven fast, you'll know that the rear end can get loose. This tends to prevent that.
