lowering springs plz help

this might not be the right forum to ask in, im looking for some new lowering springs to go with my body kit on my 02 lancer oz...maybe 2-4 inch drop. i need some good ones that will keep my body kit in good shape. a freind suggested gettin some stiff ones, but im not sure which would be the best...any suggestions?

Most people on here either go with Teins or Progress springs... Here's a pic of mine with Teins for comparison, I have the stock kit...

i would say eibach pro kit will give your kit enough clearence and there a quality spring not to say tein is not and 4 inshes would be very low if you are tring to save the kit maybe you should be thinking coilover

The only way to get anything over 2" of drop is to go with coilover, or cut your springs. Cutting your springs IMO is a bad idea .. a set of coilovers would allow you to pick the ride height you are looking for.

I personally have progress springs for my OZ and am happy ... still a tad too much wheel gap on the front, but I deal with it.

the progress springs at RRM seem to be the most popular choice

^although in this case not the best, usually not imo. id go wit the eibachs bc they give the least extreme drop keeping your bk the safest. and look in many places (not just RRM) so you dont get take with the price. in teh future, run a search bc you could have found all this info in seconds.

edit: oh and also, pay attention to what forum you are poisting in, this should have gone in teh suspension forum.

tein basic coilovers i got the eibachs and all the springs have a really small drop im going for like 2 inches now i say go with coilovers just because ya your gonna lower your car and all but the ride is really bad it bounces alot and it just gets uncomfortable after a while and i also hate the gap thats between the rims and the wheel well. if u want tho ill sell u my eibachs if u want in like 3 weeks since im ordering the coilovers in like a week
