the harness that come with those tail light are suppose to have the turn signal n reverse switch around. that way you are gonna have a bright white reverse light and a lame inner red turn signal. that is how the tail light got DOT approve. you should becareful though, people will not be able to know you are reversing!

 

I'm gonna mod the so that both the turn signal and reverse light share the clear area... the former reverse light will become another brake light.

Problem Solved!! I started this at 12 AM and was done by 1 AM ..... I didn't get any final picks of how they look lit at night because it is too late to pull out of the garage, don't wanna wake up the family. But I did take some pics of what I did and how. So... Here they are; The Reverse lamp is now shares the clear housing with the turning signal, and the former home for the Reverse lamp is now a rear running lamp that comes on with the headlights (it does not brighten when the brake is pressed). sorry for the low res... camera phone

i just got the DEPO EVO VII lights too. The harness came stock as red turn signal, reverse is the white strip. I didn't mess with it, cuz it's cool like that.

Post pics of your lights lit up. I'm curious to see.
