I have never seen a person put a cf hood on a black lancer(or car in general) or even heard about it before. Just want to get some opinions from everyone on what you think about the look. Sorry if this has already been covered. Thanks

I'm sure its been covered, but meh, it should look good. Depends on what style of hood you get too, an OEM one should be pretty nice.

 

i've seen other black cars with cf hoods on them, i like it. so much so that i'm putting one on my black lancer (putting my money where my mouth is, so to speak.) if you like cf do it, it's your car.

 

I think that would look much better than say the CF hood on a yellow car

 

cf on black looks teh best imo, not such a falshy contrast.

You know its there but it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb either.

 

i believe lookslikeanevo has one theres pictures of it on his cardomain name i think. but ive seen this done on eclipses and what not i think it looks good

 

carbon fiber looks good on black cars. its not too much of a difference unless your close. OEM would look good, as would the Evo style hood.

 

looks good on silver tg black yellow red, oh yeah on everything but green.

 

imo opinion an OEM style cf hood would look even better on a black car with a cf trunk to go with it, it might be a litte excessive, but still would beat the hell out of a yellow lancer in a looks contest (sorry ahead of time to all you yellow lancers who are cf crazy)
