I did like 20 min in @ 125.... they will fog for the first few days until the lamps burn off the moisture from the paint and also from them being opened up. Mine foged for about 4 days and then they were fine. Looks good!

Drill a few hole in the bottom of the lens way up by the front, then toss them in the oven for 15 minutes at 250 degrees. That will allow all moister to leave and then any more that may leak through the top will exit through the tiny holes at the bottom and will not let them fog up!

Looks hot man. I might do this but I have two stupid questions: By blacking out your head does it diminish the light output of the headlight? And, is this legal?

PS- sorry if this has been answered.

dunno about legality, but it won't diminish the light output, you don't pain any of the reflectors/mirrors surfaces

Actaully to correct you, it does cause less light to exit. The chrome part the was painted also aids in reflecting light, but the difference is so minimal, you will never notice.....and just so you dont have to worry about that, become HID positive like me!

Thanks for answering the questions. I might do this if I had some help. Knowing me I'd screw it all up and have to go out and buy new lights.
