I'm fixing to order the TechSport kit for my car, but I can't decide on one thing. Which rear bumper I should get. Dave told me there is a USDM spec on in which I wouldn't have to remove the rear bar. Does anyone know how much difference there is between them?

If you have pics please post.

As far as I know it is almost the same except you dont have to cut off the the 2 bumps by your rear plate. I could be wrong. Why dont you PM Dave for clarification.

If for safety & less work, usdm is a way to go...

If for look & have money to pay a little more work on the reinforcement bar jdm is better.... I would pick jdm but I never seen one....where?

Thanks Dave. I just asked for another quote with the Ken Style U.S. Rear. I hope they don't get tired of me over at Accolade.

That bumper being so short reminds me of the early 90's Jetta rear..... A little too flat for my taste... I like it to have alittle cush back there on the rear .... of the car.

I personally prefer the look of the JDM, if someone can post images of the USDM we could all see the difference.. there is quite a size change, USDM ken rear comes out quite a bit.

the USDM I believe comes out a little farther than the stock piece if I am not mistaken.

far enough to clear the crash bar... i think you just need to remove the little plate that has 18 welds.... easy to do it you have a good air compressor and a nice cut off wheel..... ( i cut off the edge that suck out then used a crowbar to bend it and broke the bottoms welds off.... )
