Tinting

I am just wondering if those window tinting film would work on headlights (u know how ugly those 04 es headlights are...) and how would it look? what % should look fine? here's an example of what im looking http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=63689

you're probably wondering why dont i just black them out....... i'll tell u, im too scared to open them up and also i aint good at spray painting.... (the baking part sounds scary and it seems like i will have trouble putting them back together)

If your talking about putting the exact film used for windows on your headlights, your gonna run into problems. The lights wil be very dim and you might get pulled over because of it.

Well if the point of tint is to make things darker, I'm sure that would apply to headlights as well.

It's not legal to use any sort of overlays on headlights. If you want darker headlights, your best bet is to buy the housings off of a wrecked '04 Ralliart, or to paint the inside of the headilght.

go to www.bluebatmobile.com he just finished the smoke tails for the 04 and may have the smoked headlamps done.. he uses a special vinyl overlay with a six year guarranty against fading I believe.
