Question Genuine JDM Misubishi Emblem, Please look.

I just found this on Ebay. Its an SR badge off the JDM 3000GT's. I was thinking of using this for my RS badge. Its a mits part. Opinions please on how it would look. Thanks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

With all these badges you are looking at... your plan might make your car look tacky.

Ask a friend to help photoshop some of these badges to your car, so u can get an idea. People will tell you either to do what you want, it's your car, or "why you gotta make it ricey?" I'd tell you to keep it simple. With or without badges.

Your probably right. I probably will just end up with the UK black badge and no RS badge. We will see I guess.

Do you think the font is good for the RS on this badge though? I like the fact that it is dark and is a genuine mitsubishi part. The S has kind of a different look to it but it could look really good.

it gonnna look a little funny due to how the letters stand, they almost look like italics.

Dude, seriously, you've started 3 threads on this crap. Don't you think that's enough already? Why do you keep asking us what we think? No one can really tell until they see it in person as you learned with the first one. Altogether, this is a pretty lame quest, but if you're dead set on it, then go do it and report back. There's no need to continually waste space here with your Ebay antics.

Well you'd have to account the measurements of that badge with the UK badge. If it's about the same... it might look ok.. like the JDM Evolution "MR" badge. If you can get it for cheap.. try it out. It will definitely offset the straight look of the UK badge, i.e. curving on the "S". And it kinda hard to tell from the pic if baseline of the font will work with the UK badge.

I'd say try it out if you really feel like it. The badge itself doesn't look that bad, so that's a plus. Damn all those years in Graphic Design coming back. :P

I was going to put it on the lower right corner of the trunk lid. Sorry Warrtalon I just like to have opinions on this stuff before I go and do it and regret it.
