duribility of accolade kits
i like the way there kits look, just wondering how the hold up to the normal wear and tear of daily driving.

are they made out of fiberglass or some material like it?

a material like it, it is PFRP. It will hold up great thru driving. Unless you drive into brick walls or curbs.

Hmmm... Did you buy a true Accolade kit from Accolade?? All of their kits are PFRP I am pretty sure. Maybe the bodshop guy just assumed it was Fiberglass, most kits from other companies are.

PFRP is a term that I understand to be Polyfiber reinforced plastics, it is glass with a plastic polyethylene.. offers greater flex.

.....accolade kits are durable as long as u get them to fit... RoFL im jokkin they seem pretty durable ..

My body shop said it was FG, but there was some kind of plasticity in it! All I know is I can't wait to get my car back so I can get my cat back on!!!

your bodyshop guy is incorrect. It is very close to fiberglass tho. but its stronger with more flex.
