I think that if you are going to make money showing your car, then do it. Otherwise, I've seen it on a Lancer before, and it doesn't look good. The novelty will wear off when you've got to liquidize your spine just to get in and out of your car

Shave off the door handles! That would be pretty interesting. Perhaps, install some door poppers too like on those custom trucks.

If you wanna think extreme, you could have the trunk lid and the hood hinged in different locations where they would open up like a Ford GT. It's a good way to blend it with the Lambo/Suicide doors. It'd almost look like a Picasso!

I know what you guys are thinking (Jasmine, Short-grain, Long-grain, Kikuho, Uncle Bens, APC-Edition, Dragons rule, Type-R, yeah yeah). But hey, this is what you make of it. Do what your heart says. Go with your instincts. Plan on making a show car? Hey, by all means! Personally, I'd like to see something different. Go for it! We've it all. Like the R-1, Ralliart, Evo _insert number here_ wings placed onto our trunk lids, carbon fiber hoods, mag wheels, etc.... It's just you're asking a subculture (including myself) who think of the Lancer as a tuning base for performance with clean and subtle looks.

There will be haters and praisers on your path of mod-a-car. I say show yourself that people can talk, and people can walk.
