If its a show car, and just a show car, go nuts, but I agree if its a daily driver or meant for performance, save the money for the engine.

 

lambo doors are pricey $1,000+ out the door hehe pun-intended. And that doesn't include how much it'll cost to install it.

I think, yes show car...go ahead all out. But that money could be used for better things. Lncrprcess, ur car looks hot already on the outside. Why not work the interior or under the hood. U'll be happier then having tricked out doors.

If you are to mod the doors, why not just do suicide doors in rear. That would make more sense for a 4 door.

 

Plus, I have head that most of the lambo door kits come with cheap parts (sorry if I am wrong), which requires buying more durable parts. It just seems like a big head ache waiting to happen. Personally, I would love to see your car with the back doors suicided and maybe some shaved handles if you must work on your exterior.

if u got the cash and really want it id say go for it. nobody has done it yet on the lancer because they get flamed everytime its mentioned. if u could find somebody who does butter fly doors that would be orignial, with suicides on the back. If its done right it wont be ricey, but if u buy the cheap kit (BTW dont buy a kit cause theyre isnt one for the lancer, it would be completely custom) it will look like crap.

i think the hardware(hinges) are pretty cheap, but then you need a shop to do the rest...i think you should find a shop that would do it first. i would imagine the price being diff everywhere because its not a real common upgrade. maybe a hot rod shop would be a good place to check.

I'm pretty sure it would be anywhere from $300-500 for hardware, but the labor for installing it could cost more or less. check out www.autothisworld.com cause they sell suicide door hinges, but im not sure if they'll fit an EVO.

 

I'd guess it would cost like a grand or so, its not a commonly done job and it'll take a good mechanic to do it.
