Lightbulb My New Trunk Setup!?!?!

I just got my car back from First Class Auto in Taylor, MI. I came in wanting a cool trunk design with my subs and amp, here is what they came up with. I have the two 12'' Polk Momo subs mounted in a fiberglass mold in the spare tire well, the 350watt Directed Audio mono amp is mounted on top of the fiberglass box. The fiberglass mold is covered in black felt. As a coverplate or should I say "false floor" it is made of 1/2in wood wrapped in yellow felt with the mitsubishi logo cut out of it. Underneath the mitsubishi logo, two red neons light up the subs when the bass hits. Above the mitsubishi logo is the MOMO logo cut out also made of wood and wrapped in red felt. Before they did my design, I dynomatted everything, and I have no rattles when the bass hits full blown =D. Let me know what ya guys think.

Looks good! How much did you pay for the whole setup? That probably cost you a few bucks. That yellow will get dirty real easily so I hope you don't plan on putting a whole lot of anything back there. Thats why I just covered my setup in the stock colored grey felt. Have a good time bumping in your ride.

The whole setup cost me $551.50 USD. I already had the amp and subs. It cost so much because they had to make me a fiberglass box to fit in the spare tire well. I won't be keeping anything in the trunk because yes the yellow will get dirty. In the mean time I'm going to keep it covered with towels so dirt won't show. =]

I did the same thing in my trunk. I made a fibergalss box that fit right in to the spare tire well and then built a new floor. I use the stock trunk carpet to cover it up and keep it hidden and protected.

What about your phrase "Carbon Fiber Everything"? That original trunk mat has to be like 5 lbs heavier than the carbon one.

And here's a close up of the charcoal carbon fiber weave...yes its real cf...

Another piece I did to show quality:

Price is $100 shipped and it has been coated with a special coating that allows it to retain it felxability, which lets you put it in and take it out of the trunk as you please without damaging it!

Yea, this summer I'm going to take my car to some local car shows to see if I can win some money. I need it. Nobody around me really does to much to their cars since michigan has the worst roads and weather, heh. I need to put my rims back on, my new evo VII fiberglass grill, and eyelids. I'll be all set.
