Airbrushed Interior Panels
My bad... didn't know it was riding on me. I don't have the green right now... gotta replace my brakes, and a PS2 will be on the way, so, I'm not sure when I'll be able to afford it. Let it be known that I'm in for it... but, not sure when.
Now, I'd be willing to be there tomorrow, if we could work something out with the cash. I'm gonna have it done, but, I'd also like to be able to contribute to the site. E-mail me, and we'll talk... maybe trade the work for a new K&N drop in? I know you have no use for it, but, you'd probably find a buyer for it better than I would.
Hey DFW, how is the durability of the paint job...I've done this before on my other car with krylon spray paint, and it looked good for like 2 weeks, but then it started chipping off...I didnt sand down the pieces either, but that's why it started chipping I think...cuz smooth plastic doesn't really hold paint that well...lemme know...also, could you post some close up pics so I can see the paint job in detail...cuz from the pics you took it looks badass...thx
Am I the only one who doesn't like colored interiors?
I am not dissing you job, it looks relaly well done! I'm just wondering if I was the only one that painting the interior would be one of the last thing I would do inside..

I would change the steering wheel, I would change the seats and upgrade the sound system.
But, since painting is a few $ mod, my few $ mod that I would do before painting would certainly be changing the dash/instrument panel lights (not painting the clear lens in front of the cluster, but changing the lights inside). Instead of painting my panels I'd prefer some little brushed alu touch or carbon fiber. No sticker fake carbon or alu... My father has a S80 with aluminium inserts and it looks fantastic, even if it's not a sports car at all.
But once again, those are my tastes, and I was just wondering if I was the only one that would not paint my interior panels.
