Kind of reminds me of the color of my gauges in my old Jetta. To bad you couldn't do something about the needles to make the show up better.

What size bulbs do the cluster use? And how many do you need?

I'm actually experimenting with a way to do that. Basically you scrape the red paint on the back side of the needle, paint it green, then add the white bottom coat and viola - brighter needles.

These bulbs are custom made/fitted LEDs. It took me 8 months to find a way to successfully change my gauge cluster lighting to what I liked. You can order a set of these gauges cluster lights in any color (red, blue, green, white, amber) from here Lightrikz

Thanks all for the comments, I know that green isn't some people bag. I actually put my gauges back to blue, but now there is a green gauge kit for those interested

The thing is I have the AC/ash tray, etc.....already blue and I have the ES reverse indiglo gauges...so that's blue. BUT I'm going to be getting the OZ Cluster and want to make it blue. So I only need the bulbs for the Cluster. Are they a 194 and how many do you need for the cluster?

There are no aftermarket bulbs available in the size used in our cluster. That is why I had to custom fit special LEDs into stock bulb bases to effectively change the color of the gauges. There are three large bulbs that light up the cluster and one smaller one behind the odometer. If you are interested in making your gauges blue like mine are above, then I would be happy to try and help you out - explain what I did, but it does take a lot of time and work. If you just want to buy some replacements that you swap with the stock bulbs, then I so make and sell a kit for that: $50 (this inludes a $15.00 core charge for the stock bulbs since I have to use the stock bulb bases to make these) Once you get the kit, then you send me back the stock bulbs and I refund you $15.00. I've already sold 4 of these kits in blue and so far everyone is happy with it. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Zack

I actually make and sell a full interior conversion kit. How much of the interior that you convert is actually up to you. I have kits for:

Gauges
HVAC controls, clock, cig lighter ring, ashtray
Domes
Stock Radio Conversions
Sport Gauges
Dimmer switch

Prices vary. You can check out all the details here: Lightrikz

Installation is most dificult for the gauges, but other than those, the install is pretty straighforward and simple. All my kits come with full installation instructions and free 24 hour support (well, maybe not 24 hour, I have to sleep you know!)

Interesting. Perhaps as things warm up in OH I'll start piecing together a new color scheme.

Thanks! Also, I was just in talking to the dealership yesterday about swapping with an EVO cluster. You could get the speedo to work right, but the tach would be way off. The EVO has dual overhead cams and therefore, the Tach reads very differntly for them than for us. You would have to adjust the sensors on the car as well in order to get the speedo to read right. In other words, swapping for a EVo cluster is a no-go.
