just wanted to make a comment about Accolade...

i really have to admit that Accolade is doing great. these guys have progressed so much since 2 years ago...

this is great tho, i'm very pleased with alot of the things they are releasing. i rmeember a few years ago, ppl complained that the kits were "cheap" and that their fiberglass was very thin and brittle, the company just had a terrible reputation. even i used to think that things released by them were crap, and i totally take that back and regret what i thought. but now so much as changed, they've grown to international stardom, alot of ppl are buying from them, and they have a great variety of applications.

i must say that i'm very pleased and happy for Accolade for taking all the customers' comments and request into heart. this is exactly how a company is supposed to do business, professional professionalism. in just 2 years, this company expanded so much, from a little business in Sri Lanka.

i hope a lot of other companies see and learn from these guys, how such a small business became to be known world-wide. stupid question: are u guys listed on the Canadian/NY Stock Exchange? i know alot ppl would invest cuz quality is backed by Accolade.

by the way, some of my friends just got some kits made by accolade, and i must admit they look superb.

Great job Accolade!! For doing what is right for everyone and sticking by what ppl had to say. you got my support

....ithink my next body kit will be an accolade one...

I recently bought an Accolade kit(Techsport) and brought it to one of the best body shops in town and they are having trouble makeing the hood fit properly - ex. hood sticking up 1" above the fenders... etc. I have heard a lot of people complain about Accolade hoods and their fitment, so this comes as no suprise to me. I'm going down to the body shop tomorrow and I'm going to take some pics of the progress(will post tomorrow night). Hopefully the rest of the kit is fitting properly. I will keep you updated.

One thing I can say for now is that Accolade has given me superb customer service (David) and that goes a long way. : )

Hi there,

I live in New Hampshire, US. We get subzero temperatures up here frequently during our brutally cold winters. I am considering going with an Accolade Techsports body kit. I was wondering how well the paint holds to the kit? I have seen some body kits whose paint cracks and chips during the winter and just looks horrible. Anybody out there live up north and know how this works? Thanks.

^^If the bodyshop puts the proper plastic additives in with the paint, there shouldn't be a problem.

that would be the paint not the quality of the bodykit. If a properly prepped paint job on a car is taken care of in cold climate conditions then the paint should last for years to come.

stronger and better fitting but ultimately its still a fragile bumper but it will flex and take more abuse than a regular fiberglass bumper. a direct hit from a cone at speeds over 50mph will most likely damage the bumper. Polyurethane/OEM bumpers are the best bet for something you're looking for.
