Huge questions on interior lighting.

I wanna get some lights under the seats and under the dash.
Should I go with LED or Neons? I know LED's are brighter, but Im afraid that they might just be brighter in one spot.
I was also wondering what sizes I should go with, I was thinking 12 inches under the seat and 6 inches under the dash.
And will 4 LED's still be safe for the battery? I also got a aftermarket HU and a sub in the back running off a 300 watt amp.

If i would do anything i would go with 4 9" super bright neons. Get the ones with the external transformer. They cost more but are a **** load brighter, DO NOT GET LEDS!

Cold cathodes are what I go with. Though I currently have two under dash 12" blue neons and they are plenty bright for me.

I used street glow neons for my interior.. 3in ones light up under the front dash, and 9in ones under the seats at the rear light up the back seat. Plenty bright. (blue) Those street glow neons are very bright.. Also, I secured them with black bread ties so you don't have to drill anything. (the black ties that come wrapped around wires for a home theater system or computer parts) Then get a switch and wiring.. 12v from battery to the switch, then from 12v power of switch to the + of neons. Then run the grounds. Mine look good. =D

I have 4, 6 inch led's under my seats. Two facing forward and two facing back and they look awesome, take very little power as well. I would most def go with the led's I had neon's in my last car and these are way better.

I have kinda the same setup like ERIDE....4...6inch LED's in my car. All 4 are under my seats 2 face the front and 2 face the back. I'm satisfied with it. LED's are the way to go. Don't go neons. LED's last longer also.

I was thinking to change over to LED's if my neons ever burn out.. I have had neons burn out on me in the past. LED's practically last forever.. or at least 100,000hrs.

oo I got them installed they look nice. Theyre noticeably bluer than my friends neons(same size in his focus) but that could just be a brand difference I dunno.

These are the ones I got btw.

ive got the liteglow 7 color led kit and i love it. Nice and bright and supposedly lasts longer than neon tubes. Plus neon tubes can only be one color. I like the diversity of my kit.

lol, I have cold cathodes in my computer case. They are blue. U can tell from the picture they are very bright, almost a white-ish blue.(located on top and right hidden in case) My street glow neons in my car are a much deeper blue.
