hey any of you guys changed the color of your car... i gota get a new paint job... clean up my fenders and kit and everything. ill have the carbon fiber hood and trunk.. but i wanna go from like black to a white or somethin.. just thinkin.. or like Dark Dark black.. mines like a weird black, thats dark blue in pictures... crazy.. i like the white with cf look...

 

I want to go from silver to MR gray.

 

mines that kinda darkish red color :\ = i wanna make the car either a reallly really dark black like you, or a really dark blue. im not into light colors all that much

 

i want pink....

 

how much would it be to paint your whole car anyways? i heard darker the colour, the cheaper?

 

i heard the other way around....whites the cheapest to paint and black is the hardest..... i wouldnt kno im just saying what i heard.....but if i get my car repainted i would love to have it MR grey

 

i heard it was cheaper if it was darker because it's harder to paint the car to a lighter colour (obviously if your car was black it'd be harder to paint over and make it white).. ? MR grey looks sweet.. i was thinking just dark black though like everyone else..

 

if u are gona change colors they have to strip it down. thats whats makes it expensive. u cant just paint over the original color. well u can, buts it will look like crap after awhile and when u chip it

 

then i wanna go really really black. labador black or whatever lancers are is pretty bright...

 

it's cheapest to paint your car white. why? because it costs the least amount at paint shops.

Depends on the shop. A quality job is usually over 3k

 

I asked the dealer that I bought my lancer from once and they said it would be about 2k. Mitsu paint isn't that great though. Seems like alot of folks have problems with it.

 

Well you could go to midas and get it painted for $600 and get a mediocre job done or go to a shop and get a show quality finish for $3,000+
