Painted Exhaust Manifold(header) Cover

Painted my exhaust manifold cover this past weekend. Did a red to black fade on it. What do you think?

duplicolor high temp, and its like 3 layers of primer, 7 layers of paint and 5+ layers of clear.

maybe you could paint black on the letterings and emblem. maybe it would look lot better?

i think it is just because it is bright. i think it looks ok. like the way you faded the manifold cover.

Worst thing that could happen is it fades and chips then it just forces me to buy an aftermarket header

it doesnt even give an better appearance of your car. it makes your car look cheaper. i'd suggest adding black letters on it and put some touch up tones of black on different places to balance the eyesore.
