Headlamp circumference

For those of you who have opened your headlamp housing or just happen to know for any other reason...what is the circumference of the turn signal portion of the housing?

I'm debating doing custom angel eyes, but I'd like to do my rings before I open the lamps. I'm trying to avoid any other possible delays for the completion of my car, as it's been quite long enough already.

Hobie - If you don't mind waiting a few days, I'm going to be helping someone black out their headlights probably this weekend. I'll get the measurements for you then if you want.

ive opened up my headlamps and some civic projector headlamps. the angle eyes are DAMNNNN near a perfect fitment as far as the circle goes on the blinker. I dont honestly know the actual measurements, but i think just about any halo ring will fit there.

I'm not sure about the circumference(sorry), but I'd say it has about a 4inch diameter.

And the answer is......

The diameter is 3.5625 inches (or 9.04875 cm (or 3 9/16")) meaning that the circumference is 9.9678 inches (or 25.31823 cm). The diameter should be what you need. This is to the inside edge of the round part in the housing, the outside diameter of the clear lens.

well since the other guy has had some problem with DIY angel eyes...maybe we should look into using the prefabbed ones that are available for the BMW and the like

Yeah, the Circumference equals pie(3.14) x R-squared
