Underglow (Questions and pics - 56k go away!)

I recently installed an underglow kit on my '04 OZ Rally. Im just not sure if it looks right, as of right now from about 20 feet away you can see the LED strings under the sideskirts. I mounted them with the mounts supplied, ended up having to use zip ties (yes i know, ricey huh? ) on the back because you cant exactly drill thru the bumper. OZ's arent really low, which may be part of the problem...and I cant lower it because its still under warranty, so its a small thing im willing to deal with.

Is it typical for the LED strings to be seen under cars from farther away? Do any of you guys really think it matters? all in all i think it looks fine

here are some pics, they're a bit blurry...my camera isnt the best - its gettin a bit old. i also included some pics of my interior lighting, which was also quite a project, all the lights are hooked up to the cigarette lighter which i pulled out...i found a switch that fits perfectly in the spot the lighter was in, which is a convenient place to have it. Let me know what you think

Usually it's only when they are on and you are driving. But you can have them on your car when you are parked, from what I understand. Some states might have crazy laws though, so like you say check it out.

under the dash i have 12inch cold cathodes under each side, same with on the back seats...one LED next to each headrest in the back, which is what made the ceiling so bright in that one picture, reflects off the sides a bit too
