Is your kit legit? I don't want to plop down $250 and get something that is not going to give me an A+ in quality...

I'm sure everyone feels the same way.

Not sure what you mean by legit but I have had this kit installed for probably over a year and i have at least 4 more people who have this kit on a variety of cars from saab, maxima, mitsubishis

the kit is definetly high quality, plug and plug is literally plug and play...the hardest part is simply just finding a spot in your car to attach the ballast, other than that its perfect

as far as glare and stuff goes...that varies car to car...my brother in his saab has e-code lenses and has excellent light output but the for the rest of us who have clear lenses but no projector there is going to be some glare...u just can't help it.

I am probably interested on this. Does this also fit the cedia projectors that some of the lancer peeps bought here awhile ago? Not the RRM blacked out lights.

It should fit all headlight housings but do note that the HID bulbs are longer than the bulbs you have now.

So long as you give Adrian your correct bulb size the rest will plug and plug. The kits are designed around the original bulb size you give him.

Well, I am interested...the point I was trying to say (I guess I didn't do a good job of it) is that I don't want to buy these open then box try to put them on and be like "WTF?! This thing sucks" and having paid with PAYPAL I can't get my hard earned money back. I would be sooo pissed off...

I see that other people have bought this kit so I am thinking about it. Are you or someone else making these? Maybe that is why I am a little cautious...

Kid_lancer_7, do you also have the cedia projectors? What is the bulb size?

I wish i had taken pics of the contents of the box that I received but I think i did post a link to the pictures of my install.

Honestly when you open the box what you see is 2 bulbs well packed, 2 ballast with the wires attached. another set of cables that attach to the ballast that attach to the bulbs. the other ends of the wires litterally plug right into your existing headlight socket.

the ones i received were branded mccoullough but the ones my brother just got had a different brand. i don't make them nor do i know who does...i just know they come str8 from china, dropped shipped to my house

i love it and think they are awesome and fully legit

if u order from Adrian, just give him my name...sadude...i help him spread the word

with HID kits your are supposed to hook them up before you open the new bulbs... they are usually in a lil plastic tube, this way if they are busted or broken you can get a refund. Thats how it normally works anyways.

and on a side not for ppl ordering HID kits for your cedia lights... the bulbs ARE different and make sure you get the right bulb # before you buy.

Ok, my headlights are stock at the moment. No Cedias or anything like that. If I order this kit will I have the same effect as the picture?

(Sorry for the N00B questions. I'm still learning)

it will look the same.. all cedias do are:

*give a kick *** jdm look
*you can use 2 beams at once in each headlight (if you wire them like that) for more light output.
*make other lancer owners in your town say "duuude... your headlights arent the same as mine.. is this a 2006 model?"
