Rumors are rumors, but if Accolade is sueing anyone, I have a hard time believing that RRM is the target, let alone involved.

Not to start a battle or anything but not shipping to CALI people is BS... that's just total BS.

I've also heard about shipping/damage/refund issues... I've seen many complaints on that matter.

I've personally seen a few similiar cases come into the RRM shop... replaced at no additional cost. I've also heard of a few damaged in shipping and wanting a full refund... money refunded. What's the problem with accolade anyway. They are a huge company and shouldn't handle things like this in my opinion.

Living in Cali myself i take that as a personal offense as well. I get parts from all over for my cars and have never heard of such a thing. Sorry for the rant but that just sets me off so i'm behind you brother in saying that's total BS.

Facts

1 ) Why we do not sell in CA - We do not sell some parts in CA as one of our products got Copied. Namely Evo 8 R1 bumper and was renamed DRIFT X and was slapped on to Every Existing Car in the world( I am sure you know this company).

2) We do sell to CALI - We do sell the GRACING BODY KIT TO California.

3) In the future we will have unique products which will only be avaible for CA customers.

4) We do not have any issue with RRM.

If you are angry with us for not selling us in CA, please do not scold us, we had to take this decision to make sure that we track all orders and take neccesary action against any one who try to copy them,

Two ebay sellers know what happend to them trying copy our own products.

As soon the court case is over all our products will be avalible for sale in CA.

Depending on price, since Accolade doesn't list them on their site like RRM does I'd seriously consider the Tom's kit. However, I'm still concerned about Accolade's customer service quality. It seems like every few weeks there's a new thread about someone getting an Accolade kit arriving cracked or not fitting and then they give the customer a hard time about exchanging it or returning it. For example, I buy this kit and it arrives in a banged up box and the kit is cracked and broken I'd like to know I could exchange it without having to pay to ship the defective kit or pay to ship the replacement.[/QUOTE]

LanceMMC, you are correct, we have had few issues parts getting damaged, but its not common to accolade, it happens to all the companies like vis, extremedimensions, and etc.

It was common to us as only we sold lancer stuff on the forum. I know so many IT kits got damaged and threads were on this.

If there is a damage we will replace it as long customer makes sure they have acted according to the policy ( Accepting goods and signing ok and later telling the good were damaged) we cannot do anything on this.

If not accolade will replace all damaged parts at cost and we have done this,

We supply 100 % to the lancer market, When we sell 100 kits at least 5 should get damaged as its not our fault, Trucking companies are liable for this.,

As long as customer sign the parts as damaged we have no problem in replacing them !!

I am sure RRM will also have few complaint here and there, and i am also sure they will replace parts if there is damage.

We give at the best price, and the best service always., If there is issue we will always resolve it. Every business has problems. Just like you have with you Motor car dealer / Your notebook company / Your Service agent/

The fact is if there is a problem we will resolve it.

David, head of US operations has made sure of this.

I hope i answered your question. It not a problem of REFUNDING. It about Ebay Buyers funded by rival companies copying products and selling at a lower price !!!

I am sure RRM will also have to tackle this problem sooner or later. dont be surprised to see kits being sold for 200 shipped on ebay !!!

what I don't understand is what is stoping someone from buying a kit and having it shipped to Nevada and then taking it into California to have it copied? Could this have been a mistake and Accolade actually meaning Canada instead of California. I know that CAN and CA are different but it'd make more sense that way.

So what your saying is it sucks that we live in california as it's full of thieves... but after you bust the thieves it won't suck as we'll be able to once again buy from you.

However if we sign for the package prior to inspecting it we're screwed if it's damaged. Thus we have to keep the delivery guy there waiting until we check everything making his day suck. Either way someone is having a crappy day!

Glad some vendors don't do business like that but i also understand why your protecting yourself... if you don't no one else will right? Anyway, thanks for clearing it all up and wish you luck in court.

Personally though i'd get off the ebay stuff as ebay is known for 60% junk, 20% good stuff, and 20%scams... don't quote me on that but after dealing with ebay enough that is my take on it. I've been taken a few times on there and ebay/paypal always have loopholes to fall thru so that i got squat back. Just my experience though... looks like yours are about the same??

Thanks for at least acknowledging my concern.

I've worked in a warehouse and I've seen how things can be handled sometimes. So I understand it isn't always an issue of the quality of how the kit was built and that Accolade can't do anything once it's left your warehouse. Having said that however, it certainly isn't my fault should a kit arrived damaged since I have nothing to do with how well you package it for shipping protection or how well the shipping company takes care of it in transit. Clearly the only way I can see to cover my *** would be to photograph everything. Photograph the truck arriving, pictures of the boxes as they are on the truck or just arriving off it, then photos of every inch of the body kit as it is removed from the boxes. Just to prove I was no way responsible for it arriving damaged. This way I can legitimately say, "Hey Accolade, my kit arrived damaged. I'd like to exchange, but I shouldn't have to pay to send it back or pay to have another one shipped since I have photographic proof it was not my fault for it being damaged."
