Are those things removable? I mean I want my bodyshop to remove them and just paint in that deadspot and fill any holes that might be there....has anyone tried to do this?

 

just get RRM's CF replacements. tite! (and don't hit 88mph, whatever you do.)

 

I hit 80 and one of my eyelids broke in half.

 

damn that sucks.. was it still attached to the car and just snapped in half or did it just fly off while you were driving?

 

one part flew off and the other part got stuck in the hood and it made a wierd noise.

 

Yep! I got 'em on my Lab Pearl Black Lan...tough install but never broke at high speeds, and I hit 120 just this afternoon.

 

eyelids are a tough install? i dont know for a fact coz i dont have them but i thought they would be pretty easy. hRmph, guess i was wrong.

 

eyelids breaking at high speeds? I dunno. I have a white car so the CF Reflectors might not look good?

 

correction.. CF looks good with ANYTHING! but if you don't like it, you can always paint over the CF with just a simple primer, then a glossy white, then clearcoat if you want. just to get rid of that uglyass orange reflector.

yeah i know but i feel like the kaminari bumper is overbought.... the type 2 lip ...havent seen anyone in my neighborhood with it, but I have seen 3 lancers so far with kaminari bumpers. I guess not many know about the Lip..... I'm thinking Type 1 too...

IMO Pics on RMR dont do it justice, ITs a great alternative if you looking for a big mouth effect, and it does make it a little more aggressive.

Type 2 is ehhhhhh, im not a fan but it looks ok

As far as Reflectors go i have the CF reflectors right now to tie me over. once i get my new bumper and lip im probably gonna fill the holes up and have it painted. Should look alot better

im usually around fresh meadows, union turnpike, flushing, and northern blvd alot

 

I used a spray window tint to tint the reflectors on mine (removed before painting) they are held in by 2 screws on the back of the reflector. check it out
