New but Simple Look
With Putty-Kote Polyester body filler (much better than Bondo IMO). I blocked it, sanded it, and painted it all nice and smooth. If you aren't skilled at paint and body, You can buy some hole plugs at the hardware store as a temporary fix for the deck lid, just pop it in with some silicone to seal it. As for the bottom of the wing... those holes are recangular and you would probably have to use duct-tape or even blackout tape as a temporary fix.
Hey Tyler... looks good man. I really like the carbon fiber hood. We got home around 5:00ish and put it on. Only I didn't know that I needed to adjust the hood latch and when I went to pop the hood it sprang and left a nice small crack in the hood
what once was soooo perfect now has a minor hardly noticable line.
Oh and while we were leaving I look to Frank and say, "did you catch Greenpsyco's name?" and he says, "um... no...." So what was GreenPsyco's real name? Haha.

There is a yellow hood for sale in NC for $175. You should probably just get it painted, it would end up being cheaper than getting one and having it shipped. Painting a hood would probably run about 200-250.
... or steal Jay's hood while he's not looking ...

ah crap, where'd my hood go? and where did tyler get his shiny yellow hood from? ah well
it might be worth it just to paint the hood you got, lets figure 200 bucks, sell the TG hood, your only out maybe 100 bucks for a shiny new hood. just a thought

Too late now, took the hood to the junk yard. the corners were all chipped and and scratches everywhere.. rusting=no good. ill keep looking for a hood. Theres gotta be people dying to toss thier stock hood in exchange for a cf one.

It was just a suggestion. He'd have to sneak over to RIPP and break in to swap the hoods though. Then RIPP could put in an insruance claim for the theft and you'd get a brand new yellow hood.Any who, painting and selling is probably the way to go. At least you have a TG hood right now. It could be worse, it could be red, blue, or white on a yellow car

The crack is hardly noticeable. I think that the hood latch wasn't adjusted, also I closed the hood while there was a bolt under the hinge. That made the hood have extra tension, so when I poped the hood it poped up and then it grabed on the latch. Hense the crack... The crack is tiny and I don't think that I camera would even show it, it's that insignificant. Furthermore the crack does not comprimise the integrety of the hood in anyway. It's all good... I just feel like a dope for not thinking to adjust the latch or look for stray bolts under the hinge of the hood.
By the way who made this hood... it's looks so hot.
