No jay unfotunatley, Ill be going from 215-40-17 kumho mx tires to stock tires... Its the price to pay for saving for a turbo.. Thier just temps until I Can afford so new rubber. I figure Im not gonna romp on the gas for 1kmiles so that the kit sets in so that will give me some time to get some tires and motor mounts.

Winter tires are fun ... you can drift pretty easily with them, but not very controlled. Might I suggest getting 205/55-15 tires instead of the 215/50-15. The extra width you are adding at 215 will hang over the end of the rim, and actually make the sidewall less effective. 205s are the widest I would go on the stock rims, not to mention you would have more choices (unless you are getting a compeition tire).

Thanks for the advice jay, I was contemplating which tire size would be better and you just answered my question!

I narrowed the tires down to these.. What do you think?

BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Blackwall $284.00 for the set

205/55VR15 Dunlop SP Sport FM901 Blackwall
$50 rebate or 50 song downloads with four of these tires. $260.09 for the set

Yokohama AVS ES100 Blackwall $312.00 for the set

BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2 $404.00 for the set

Im looking for a Great everyday street tire and sometimes track tire that is good in the rain.

The snow tires are so fun! I dont feel any bump and taking turns feels like my car is rwd.

hey ty, i thought you were going with 16" aftermarket wheels? i say if you are, just hold off on the tires until you get wheels. no sense buying 500 dollars worth in tires, then grabbing 16" wheels 6 months later and have to rebuy tires, ya know?

I was going to go with 16 in wheels jay but I just dont have the money for them.. 15in wheels with sick tires will grip and perform just as good as 16in tires. Besides i have more importants things to spend my money on like Tein basic dampers, motor mounts, and more engine mods.
