VETERAN LANCER's I NEED YOUR HELP FAST!!!!!!!!!!

i'm in the process of putting a body kit on my 03 lancer es (white) but i've run into a snag. I want to put on this front bumper but my body shop guy thinks he will have to remove my crossmember or my reinforcement piece so that if i got in a frontal accident, it would not crumble the front end b/c all i had in the way was a piece of plastic and not reinforcement bumper, foam, or crossmember. more specifically, will the ken stlye front from accolade work asa simple swap or will i have to mod it and take off pieces of my car, ect. Thanks!

mine didn't need to be removed! I got the EVO VII bumper though! If the shop you go to is decent they can work around that! I will just say be careful what you buy and where you buy it from!

The front did not have to be remowed on mine, but the back I did for the JDM rear.

****... well, i plan on getting a rear bumper too soo... ****. My shop is very good, its just the reason i am able to put on a kit is because i just got in a wreck (not my fault ) and i am paying the difference for a different bumper. I called GRUPPE-S and they said their gialla kit didn't require the removal of it and it fit right over top of it. I just want a ****ing kit thats safe. any ideas on ones that are KNOWN to fit over it? any? any? any of em'?

I thought all of the fronts fit w/o removal of the reinforcement bar... it was a few rears that didnt fit.

OK front bumper needs nothing removed... ken style was made to fit over the front crash bar. as for the rear ( unless JDM Shorty ) it will not need removed aswell.

as for the evo kit. front will fit without any removal. as for rear you will need to modify the liecense plate a little.

^^^^^+1. Ken will fit, up front, with no issues. The rear ken will need some shaving to the foam for the JDM style license plate area. Good luck.

TeamAccolade, i just ordered the Extreme Kit (full kit, everything) and only have about 1 week to get the kit on my car and paint the entire thing. Is it possible or did i just waste $900 plus paint? I've been going through Christopher Peterson and he said he could get it to me in 5 days. If theres anyway you could get ahold of them and tell em' its super important and maybe you can give it a nudge to get it out faster as your on the team, I'd be more than happy to pay you a premium for your services I'll PM you as well and if your interested, LMK.
