grill

I am considering buying an evo grill from rrm, but since i live in canada this grill will cost me about $400-500 after it is all said and done. so if anyone has this grill, or has pics, or an opinion please let me know cuz $500 is alot for a grill.

There's several people on the forum that has this grill. Take a look at the registry.

its all about what you want. How much you wanna spend, how you want your ride to look. Thats the whole joy of customization. Just think of it as a real expensive hobby.

I've got the RRM Evo-style CF grille. Check out my ryde in the registry or wherever. There's always the alternative of customizing your OEM grille like gotglows7icks did. Click here to check it out. I've seen it up close and basically, it's a sick mod!

gotglows7icks did a good job on his grill. I would have painted the chrome black as well formy car (thundergrey) but I REALLY like how he did it. I really like the evo grill that rrm offers, but it doesn't look to fit like a glove ... I'm gonna do something custom on mine as well.

Good luck man! I'm assuming it will cost so much because you are in canada and the exchange rate? You could try finding a used one in the forums ??

digdat, i don't know anyone who lives in the U.S. i don't mind paying the exchange b/c then the grill is only $230-250 w/shipping but customs charges a $85 dollar inspection fee and 15% tax on top of that. if i had a hook up in the states they could ship it as a gift and all duty and inspection fees would be waived.

If you think the stock grill is just deadly hideous, then 500 bucks might be worth it. But if you're like me, and don't mind the stock grill, 500 bucks is way too much to spend on a GRILL. I don't think it'd be worth it.

Actually, that would be even worse. USPS is ok (pricewise), but UPS rapes us Canadians with their "brokerage" fees.

Dude, wanna by my RRM Evo-style CF grille? I am gonna do a "custom" mesh-only mod on my O-Z. I'm Canadian and will send you the item as a gift via USPS. You can pay me with PayPal and I'll pack it up and ship it out right away. PM me to discuss.
