Anyone know how these black plastic strips are going to come into use on the install on my carbon fiber evo wing?

 

Arent those the strips that go on the trunk so you can mark where you have to drill?

 

If they are 2 strips that have holes in them, they are a very important tool to use when installing your wing. you use them to mark where you want your holes to line up and use masking taped to hold them down while you drill.

 

these black strips just have a post in the middle and there are six of them.

 

Can you take a picture for us?? What do you mean by "post in the middle" ??

 

yea they are the marking tools for drilling
dude youstick em in the holes ont he bottom of the spoiuler right
you center everything up tape the tabs down and then lift the spoiler up use a small drill bit to drill a hole in the middle of the post ,take the tape and strips off and then use the right size drill bit to drill the holes bigger in the trunk
