Removing Decals from WHEELS?

Possible?
I love this wheel mold.
Rota makes one similar but they only go up to 16inch.
But I dont want this SPOON and MOTOR SPORTS RACING WHEELS on it.
If i get them does anyone know of a safe way of removing them?

I was thinking maybe GOOGONE but I dunno if they are adhesive.

Even better, that's "spoom", not spoon.
Maybe repowdercoat the wheels?

The fact that it says SPOOM makes it worse. What were they thinking?

If they are just decals, the itll come off with a heat gun. Just be sure not to scortch the wheel

or try running them off with an x-acto or razor blade hsould come right up. But you need to have a light hand to be sure not to gouge the rim a little.

I understand you like the rims, but take a step back and think. If they say Spoom, Im sure more problems will surface if you buy them. They are cheap knock offs, and with rims you get what you pay for. Understand Im not trying to make fun of the rims, just warning you that they might not be of the highest quality, in which case cheap rims will become expensive when you have to replace four bent or cracked rims.....

point well taken, but I know a few ppl with excel rims and they have no complaints... especially living in NY with all these damn pot holes....one of them kept them on this winter and his are fine....

If anyone knows where I can get this mold in 17 (rota only has 16) let me know.

if i had a white lancer i would go with the silvers. If you were to go with the gunmetal, i'd get em with the polished lip. I've seen similar models in 17's, but not the same style as that.
