RRM evo 7 wing wobble troubles

I recieved my rrm evo 7 wing made of abs and did a test fit and drive to see how it was. it fits nice and flush with trunk lid and looks great.... but anything over 40 mph makes the cross section wobble a lot. It vibrated on bumps but I expected that. I changed the angle of cross section to try to see if it would cut the air different and stop the wobble but no luck, everything is extra tight and installed right. Is there anything I can do to stop the wobbleing? would a CF wing wobble or is it just becuase its abs?

ps- I searched and got no answer

This is why you should have gotten the CF ones.

Yeah, expect it to wobles since its made of abs, just like the STi spoiler, they woble at high speed. Either get the OEM ones (search around here), or trade in for the CF. But if I were you, I'll just get the OEM.

mine has the same problem. I'll try using those liquid locks/ liquid nails they're talking about. or add more stability to the to post sides holding the cross section(ie: evo7 wing has 6 holes to connect to the trunk). I think the dude who invented the wheel foresaw it because evo7 wing sticks out at the edge making the 2 sides wobbly and unstable within 40-100miles. I connected my evo7 wing using factory holes but not connecting 2 more.
________
evo 8 wing is more stable due to trapezoid construction / \

evo 7 wing is inverted trapezoid type making it wobbly \_________/ in medium to high speed so the designer made the base of the sides more rigid by adding 2 extra connectors to the base

mmmmmm, ic.......the stablity of my posts isnt a problem, they vibrate some over bumps but anything over 40 and the cross section wobbles in the center.....it is just to weak since its abs i guess. I cant think of anything to make the cross section stronger unless I could inject something like a foam or w/e into it to make it stiffer.

A little off topic but, will an aftermarket Evo 8 spoiler have the same problem?

im just gonna return it i hope and get a stronger carbon fiber one later on. I wouldnt think cf would wobble since the cross section would be more rigid then abs

yes u should have searched more but

1) silicone or liquid nails. better lock nuts that wont loosen.
2) adjust the wings center peice to be more arrodynamic.. if in fact u got the adjustible one.
2) buy a decent wing.. IE oem or ralliart.

^u put 1,2,2 akasirlancerlot. but i get it too. or
4. lose the wing
5. rivets (if its there to stay)
6. rubber washers to stop the loosening (maybe)
7. new wing (best bet)
